Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Like the title says, I've never had the chance to roll on a brand new server (retail or private) without an already established economy. Usually I just pick up mining and sell copper but since there will probably be no demand for it, I now have no clue how I'll pay for my abilities or gear myself up from the AH.

So what is you're strategy to not be burdened by the lack of funds/gear while leveling up? (especially warriors)

I will get 2 gathering professions because the demand will be there sooner or later, and you can still sell them at a a vendor. And also, I will just buy the skills that I absolutely need.

Sell stuff. Don't buy stuff. Be rich.

Enchanting just to disenchant anything you don't need, you will be able to disenchant all loot later on in 5 man level 60 instances.

I wouldn't say there is no demand for mining, there will be tons of warriors. There is always a demand for herbs since almost everyone raiding will be using consumables.

I'll enchant/herbalism

Enchant has a high demand at high level I think.
herbalism because everybody need consumables.

Alchemist / herbalism

Do what I always do, have a gathering and matching crafting prof on every char. It'll even itself out ;D
