Hair colors not displayed correctly?

So Im leveling with my priest buddy, he says his hair color is blonde, but I see black on both his model and portrait. He says my hair is brown, but its gray in both model and portrait. Ive asked several other randos walking around and they both see black hair on him, brown/blonde hair on me, NOT what we created and see ourselves. Was wondering if anyone else has experienced and if its a bug or not. My old man river look doesn't quite look the same if I have golden curls!

With your study, have you asked if the participants are colorblind?

Hah yes, that question is always brought up eventually. But who mixes up black with blonde, or gray with brown. Another weird thing, is when my buddy first logs on and we party up, his portrait is with blonde hair, but once I get within range of him and his model loads in, it turns to black.

That's expected behaviour. All race+gender combinations have a "standard" portrait that gets replaced with a "real" portrait as soon as you're close to the player.

Regarding the hair color issue, ask your buddy to delete the WTF and WDB folders. Might be caused by wrong cache data in one of those folders.
