Holy fuck dude.... colleges in USA are retardedly expensive. In some cases, it's like going to college sets you back in life instead of moving you forward.

Haha, yea I fucked up. I was one of those kids that couldn't figure out wtf to do so I ended up going to college for 6 1/2 years and now I have a decent paying job, but it's nothing super great. I could technically live off of it on my own, but the second something happens, say my car dies or some other emergency then I'd be fucked.

It's not that simple... yes, getting a job right out of HS w/ no debt sounds awesome but most people either get shit jobs (like a cashier) or reach a career ceiling very quickly.

Those people who became successful w/out a HS degree, they're rare. I'd say less 0.1% make it that way.... hell, even most college grads never make it.

Best thing to do is go to Community college for 2 years + 2 years of instate college, to graduate w/t he least or no debt

One part debt trap as a means of social control, one part turning every important social facet into an opportunity to enrich a few people. (healthcare, education, etc etc.) Amuricans aren't citizens as much as they are a crop to be farmed.
