Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I was wondering if faction changes were ever going to be implemented. Like, ever, BC, wotlk, when?

I've read other threads, and there are people saying that they don't want it, but I'd like nostalrius' point of view, so a link to something a dev said or other somesuch thing would sate my curiosity.

well i guess it all depends on whether it was possible in the old vanilla or not. but i doubt it was possible before burning crusade. someone with knowledge of this could help.

It was not possible in Vanilla, I even rerolled end of BC in preparation wrath (for Tauren HP bonus as a tank from orc). It was implemented middle of wrath (after ulduar I think).
