Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I understand its a big server but if the idea is to press an ability and see it fired after 2 seconds while you have 30 ms latency... something is deeply wrong. And who was the genius who limited the view even more ? Now you cant see anything till you are near...

TLDR version: Nostalrius = unplayable

Haven't experience any lag that serious but mob and nameplate draw distance can indeed be utter shit.

I've been noticing a 1-2 second delay whenever there's at least 7k people online. Fighting mobs with stuns or knockdowns gets very messy real quick.

And with more and more people coming to the server, it's looking like it's only going to get worse.

Try to run it with some vpn client like tunnelBear or try to scan your pc.
I had exactly the same problem as you describe, 30 ms latency displayed but 2 sec delay. For example when i met player and we were running stright against each other, i could not use charge as warrior because simply i did not get into charge distance, just saying that delay was really huge.
Then i tried to cnnect to france tunnelbear server which increased my displayed latency twice or 3 times, but delay was noticeably lesser.
And few days ago i was quite bussy irl, so i took norton trial version, ran full pc scan and later then it wa ok even without vpn client.
Just try it out the vpn client should take only few minutes, but you will need to pay to use that later, while scan atleast in my case takes like whole day.
