Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Hello, I have an issue regarding that stats I see in-game for items vs the stats others see. It seems like only I see these "weird" stats and everyone else sees the other stats.

For example: for [Dreamweave Gloves], I see "Increases damage done by Frost spells and efects by up to 10", and others see "Increases spells by up to X".

I'm wondering if it's effecting my gameplay/dps, but I doubt it. It's important to see correct stats for determining which item to use, however, and I need to fix that.

Actually, I believe the + frost dmg is the currently correct stat. At least that's the stat I see after deleting my WDB folder. Meaning you see it correct, and others wrong.

Have you actually asked other players for what stat they see? Because db.vanillagaming.org does not containt the correct stats for this patch, nor does any other database afaik.

AoWoW/vanillagaming.db is referencing 1.12 data. There was an item overhaul in 1.4. Nostalrius runs 1.12.1 class mechanics but pre-1.4 basically everything else for now.

As said above, the issue is your item cache. Clear your WDB folder. You have information from a server running post-1.4 gear cached.

I think the problem he is having is that he thinks the correct stats he sees are wrong because the databases tell him otherwise. If you look at the example he took it fits with the pre 1.4 gear.

I don't think that's correct. If you're saying the gear should have changed after 1.4 then the comment from wowhead in patch 1.12.2 in 2006 wouldn't suggest Dreamweave Gloves are good for shadow priests. I also deleted my WDB folder and after reloading it still shows frost damage instead of spell damage. Either the tooltip is wrong or the item needs to be updated correctly. Can anyone actually confirm?

this are the stats of the gloves before being reitemized from wotlk/cataclysm where they went back and removed lots of old statistics on gear.

I understand the current stats on Wowhead are re-itemized. What I'm saying is... in 2006 during patch 1.12.2, someone posted a comment saying that Dreamweave Gloves are really good for shadow priests. That indicates that these gloves did indeed have spell damage and NOT specifically frost damage. Someone above said they think the frost damage is correct but I don't think that's right. Right now, on the nost server, the tooltip is saying that Dreamweave Gloves are an increase to frost damage.

That's because we're on patch 1.3 for itemization, which was way different. Comments for 1.3 would be before May 2005.
