Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

During leveling in BC, i remember being in my early or mid forties and going to the western part of Un'Goro Crater and killing skull level dinosaurs. Later in my late forties i got a mage to teleport me to outland and afterwards went out and killed some skull level felboars.

Now based on killing mobs on this server the mobs are way too tough for anything like that, even with a hunter. What i'm asking is, did the mobs recieve some kind of nerf in BC, or should i be able to kill some skull level mobs as a hunter once i get to a higher level and get some more abilites?

It is because you lack the abilities and gear. People often complain that Blizzard made mobs weaker, and besides elites, rares , and named mobs this isn't the whole truth. As you gain more levels you get better skills, in addition each expansion added new skills or improved old ones making players stronger than what they were before. This is actually why the Time Walker dungeons Blizzard is working on are now childishly easy despite the players being scaled down to the appropriate level.

Wearing tier 2 epic bow and at least a trinket from aq40, but uh maybe you can do it in worse gear? I have no idea.
