Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Discuss this. Which raid was the most annoying for you in vanilla? And which one was the best?

I personally always found AQ40 extremely dull (at least 'til emperors and C'thun lol) - the whole bug thing and bunch of useless bosses like Fankriss / Battleguard *surely must be a noob to wipe here* Sartura etc. I know some people love the whole AQ thing but the best thing for me about that storyline was the War Effort and the opening event.. AQ20 is pretty damn useless raid too with Osirian the only interesting boss (or interesting loot boss aswell lol).

And the best for me would be BWL if we don't really consider the Firemaw/Ebonroc/Flamegor fiasco (I mean c'mon how lazy you got to be to just put the same boss basically 3 times in a raid). The only part that I find really annoying is the freaking trash before Broodlord Lashlayer.. Everything else is kinda dragon-epic, really nice fights.

So share your toughts.. Let's have some good memories before we get to play on teh new Nostalrius

ZG is probably my favorite raid. There are some legit fun bosses in there. Plus fishing!

Darnassus best raid. Murder all those hippies and Tyrande the who- High Priestess.

UBRS only raid i could really beat but im hoping my guild can make it to molten core this time

City raids were the best before they got totally ruined by Blizzard. Flying mounts in Azeroth and what they did with faction guards buried it for good. Players that joined up after Cata will probably never even go near an enemy city, nor see the huge raid vs raid fights inside them that I used to enjoy. Now days games don't even allow this, such as GW 2, where you can't attack any faction city even if you wanted to. This is what happens when the whining carebears get their way on everything. Fun, gone.

Doesn't actually make sense to attack the other race's cities in GW2 seeing as how you're all on the same side (thanks to begrudging alliances that the "Evil Version" of each race tries work to break/undermine) and there's really no factions >.>

And that's something stemming from GW1. Granted, Charr were an enemy faction (only hostiles from GW1 turned PC in GW2) but you could only play as humans.

There's the WvWvW though which pretty much works kinda the same as faction-based combat.

ZG and BWL tops my list, I also love blackrock spire.
As for annoying, MC gets old really fast. Something about the trash just posing zero risk beyond asspulling. It's ok in the later stages though.

Annoying: AQ20
Fun: ZG and MC (love the bomb)

Annoying: AQ20 (Didn't like the theme, bosses are uninteresting)
Most fun: Naxx (The whole raid layout owns, everyone can chose if they want to start with spider wing or plague wing or even try Razuvius) Best by far.

As a 40-Man Raid i prefer AQ40 i do like the bug/agyptian theme. Maybe it would be Naxx, but who saw this raid when it was real content? 1% of all players ?
