Problem with the Green Hills of Stranglethorn chain...

Hello guys/girls,

Today I've encounterd a pretty annoying problem while doing quests in Stranglethorn Vale. I've picked up the Green Hills questchain and started collecting the pages. Once I had 'em all I went back to the questgiver to turn in the Chapter quests. While I did complete Chapter I, Chapter III and Chapter IV, I couldn't turn in Chapter II while I clearly have all the required pages in my bag. The questgiver also shows a silver question mark (instead of a yellow one) above his head so I don't really know what the problem is and what to do. I hope you guys/girls have any solution to this problem 'cause it would be a shame if I have to drop the quest after the effort I put in collecting the pages.

Just abandon it and pick it up again. If that doesn't work, keep abandoning it and picking it up until it does.

You realize you don't actually need the quest to college the pages right? What most people do is they don't pick up those quests UNTIL they have all the pages to save quest long space.

Your post seems overly dramatic for one of the most mindless quests in the game.

I know I can collect them without the quest but I likr to have them in my log so I can keep track of which I have already instead of checking my bags each time etc. the first thing I did was indeed abandoning and picking it up again but that didn't help at all. But I'll try to do that some more if you say it will help eventually, thanks for your fast reply!

I would just keep trying, it might work when the server resets or don't get rid of the pages just yet. In the meantime you can make a report about your situation on the bugtracker. If you don't already have an account on it, it takes a few minutes to set one up and like a day to get it activated.

There should be a bank in Booty Bay for him to check it.

Okay try this, pickup the Chapter II quest with all the items required for it in the bank. then go back to the bank and pick the items up from your bank again (slowly if there are 9k players online). then turnin

Try this. Put a magnet close to the quest giver. Or duck tape the pages.

Allright after some abandoning and picking it up again I indeed tried this and finally it worked, so it seems this was the problem after all.

Never encountered something like this but I guess there's a first time for everything right?

Anyway, problem solved so thanks for the help people!
