it's a long time ago that I played vanilla Alterac.
In the deeps of my head there is a memorie that the PVP bosses in Alterac dropps items - at least blues.
Am I completly wrong?

They had a small chance like any other mob to drop random world items like cards and things of that nature, but nothing specific to them.

Mob loot drop in AV is barely anything. However, there were quests to do and a reputation to work. The quest for the enemy general, which used to be difficult to do, had blues on it. This was back when a single AV match could last 10 days around the clock, so getting that quest done was quite the challenge. AVs, back then, lasted longer in days than they do now in minutes. There was none of this "race to the finish, avoid enemy raid, and end in 5min" BS. No, you actually fought, back and forth, day and night, as was intended, and as it should have stayed.

All of these 5-10 day AV's are so exaggerated. People didn't have epic back and forth battles for days, 15 retards fought each other in the middle while everyone normal came in and out of the game and did rep quests.

Well I for one hope for these long AV games. I never got to 60 back in vanilla, so I am looking forward to this. I hope that others are as well, because doing a rush to finish defeats the point IMHO.
