Here you go, post your most shameful noob memories: when you had no clue how the game was working and when you were'nt an elitist theorycrafter like today^^
My confession:
-thought drinking restored rage as a warrior oO
-didn't know you could "link" items on chat, so had to type ALL the caracs of the item in order to sell it..."Selling Sword of the Tiger, +3 agility, 1,80 speed, 2,10 DPS, 10-15 damages"
-discovered talent points at level...14
-one day a lvl 60 character who was leaving the game gave me a bunch of Arcane Crystals: sold everything to a NPC:/
That's about it...tell me your darkest secrets oO

For the warlock spell " Rain Of Fire " and other spells where they leave a green mark on the floor, i use to think that the closer the middle of it was to the mob, the more damage it would deal.

- I thought Teldrassil island was the whole game area, and the point of the game was to kill spiders there until you hit 60 and then go raid somewhere.
- Spent my first talent on lvl40. I thought this had diablo2 type of system where you are stuck forever with the spec you have. So i decided to wait until i learn more about how to spec, so i wont ruin my char.
- I shat myself when i first saw the gigantic ancient protector tree thing. I thought it was a raid boss or something.
- I thought this game had permadeath, and after you died you could only play as a ghost.
- I had to bribe people to buy me stuff from AH, because my shitty family PC with 256mb of RAM could not handle Ironforge

the very first green item i got i tried to equip and that message popped up "equipping this item will cause it be become soulbound" and me being a noob, I thought if i put it on I would never be able to equip any other piece of gear in that slot.
after I got passed that big noob moment, I would replace gear based solely on armor, I didn't even think about the stats. I remember a druid raging at me because as a Rogue I needed a pair of leather druid healing pants in a ZF run lol
also I thought any zone with a lot of mountains would contain high level mobs, so I dreaded Stonetalon Mountains and I avoided that place at all costs lol

Yea, ninja memories during the first instance run.
"Hmmm.. This weird window popped that says need, greed or pass. Well i need money, so i need this thing so i can sell it. Need"
Flawless logic.
After that you just keep hitting need, because that seems to be the best way to get stuff.

My first 60 was a Troll Hunter. I can't believe how terrible I used to be at the game. I'd equip strength gear over agility, sometimes I'd equip Intellect gear thinking I needed more Mana, I had no professions and I put all talent points into one tree. I remember finding an Epic "Life Stone" from a Yeti in Winterspring, I was too impatient and ended up selling it for only 50g.
I remember while leveling I decided I wanted to be a melee hunter as I got bored of using a bow/gun...
I'm glad that's over.

I did the strength hunter thing too, I thought strength made me stronger!
I didn't know I could learn new abilities until I got to lvl8ish, I also used to run from the Valley of Trials to Razorhill just to vendor stuff, then I'd run back tot he valley to grind.
I didn't know I could just quest for easy exp, I thought quests would be long and give no worthwhile reward (I came from Runescape)

Played a Tauren Hunter and leveled all the way from 1 to 45 thinking that Survival was Meele Spec and went duel wield strength axes. At least I had a pet!
