Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Trolls love use this whistle (same sound as from rat catcher in tram) near crowds to annoy people. This shit getting out of hand. I hear it in market place, I hear it in BGs. Can we remove this whistle from game? The only thing it does is annoys alot of people.

Since it's not an addon and is an edited WoW file that is probably not allowed.

It is a sound file. The funcion to be able to replace sounds is built into wow intentionally. It is 100% ok to use.

No its actually one hundred percent against the rules and was not "built into wow intentionally" for people to replace them. What the hell is with every second guy just making things up are you guys in denial or just trying to get people in trouble? or is your pride so big you need to make things up to prove a point.

What you can do is use an add-on that redirects from the sound MPQ to a different file but you may not replace or edit World of Warcraft files.

Removing the whistle would make a lot of people very sad and mad.

Whenever it happens, you can fix it by pressing ctrl-s and it will disable all sounds, including that annoying rat flute sound.

Ban the whistle yourself !

So dozens of people have to CTRL+S every time some genius willing to troll?

Placing a soundfile in the wow folder is NOT editing mpq files. The reason the client looks to the sound folder first and the mpq second is just so that sounds can be edited without editing mpqs.
