Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Maybe its a matter of perspective, but Alliance seemed to have always dominated AV, almost every year I played WoW, including vanilla (server specific I guess)

I want to roll horde because I want to play on the faction with less players for more world PvP targets, but losing every AV would not be fun.

Horde can literally just run right into stormpike with proper wall jumping, not sure which server you came from.

Retail for me has been like this for aslong as I can remember (Vanilla it was balanced, but as soon as auto clickers became a thing, horde AV went down hill) but when it comes to private servers it always seemed to me that itd be 50/50

I'm not entirely sure how the pre-nerf AV thingie works. But no matter what, in all expansions. A team of 5 rogues and 5 druids could easily stealth and turn the entire game around with some bunker caps etc.

Thats what I fear about the private server. Majority of the players here won't be newbs experiencing the game for the first time like in vanilla. So I think any chance of skipping to the bosses in AV etc will be utilized. Guess we'll see in a few days/weeks.

and a team of one hunter (me) can succesfully defend the bridge for 5+ minutes

or DB from being capped, whatever needs attention first

Hopefully it will be even, not like ED where the alliance npcs where 10 levels higher than the horde ones for a couple of weeks.

...what about the 7 guards on the bridge?

This will be Pre Nerf Alterac Valley, meaning you will have a really hard time to rush to the enemy base. On PTR we had to fight for every meter of AV and slowly progressed with lots of PVP involved, so I think it will be even (i.e. the first faction who manages to summon Cavalry/Ground Assault combined with their respective Elemental Lord will win)
