Is this an SJW server?

I hear that mods actually ban people for comments in general chat... My question is, just how bad is it? I don't like the idea of someone watching like a hawk while at the same time he's praying to the Tumbler gods to smite all the people with different opinions than him.

In fact, I'm not a fan of censorship at all. Why can't this place harbor reprobates and trolls? It makes things far more interesting and allows me to get out the popcorn. The more you want a "clean" environment where everyone gets along, the more sterile and boring it becomes.

In the same vein, I read that the mods will actually ban you (eventually) for killing quest npcs. Why? Now I sometimes do some lowbie killing and have in the past killed a quest giver over and over just to see how many people I could get standing around. Usually though it's not a normal thing. But lets say I get demon possessed and I want to make a night of it, will I get the mods on my case? I don't think Blizzard ever interjected in such matters on PvP servers as it was considered 'fair game'.

So how bad is it here and is it worth putting in the time when people won't be allowed to vent, troll or you know, have a bit of unconventional fun at times?

There is a difference between venting/trolling and acting like a savage. This server is fine and you will find a nice mix of people to fit your interests. Play for a bit and see for yourself instead of regressing into a rant full of confirmation bias, bait, and ad hominems.
