Anyone else having issues with Auto attack just not working?

My friend and I keep coming across an issue where our characters just stop auto attacking. We can use abilities, our character looks like it is in combat with weapon raised but we can't white hit.

Standing right on top of the mob, right clicking, character just stands there derping out

Yes the mob is in range and yes we are facing them. Usually takes up to 15 seconds before we start auto attacking again.

I've seen this issue as well and I haven't really found a way to fix it.

My auto-attack seems to be activated but no white hits are released and I am only able to kill the mob with abilities.

I've been having the same problem, and it's really starting to get on my nerves. If there's anything I can do to help fix it, I'll gladly do so.

Click off the mob, then right click it again. You'll start attacking again normally. Not a fix but a workaround at least.

Not really an option for hunters, since the auto attack defaults to melee.

Really fun in PVP when you have a very slow weapon (3,80s) and your cow suddenly stop attacking target, but stay motionless "combat style" in front of the guy. And you're just clueless still thinking it's part of the cumbersome auto-attack cycle.
