And I can't do a fu**ing thing about it.

I can't password reset because I get an error that "the account has been used recently".

I can't make an alt to whisper anyone in my guild or my friends lists to tell them I've lost control of the account because of the level restrictions.

I don't want to lose my 60 priest. It took a damn long time to level and it is MINE.

What do I do? I don't know how my account password was compromised. My other accounts are fine and working.

Well the first thing you do is learn how to create a complex password.

Next you learn not to use the same password for your game account as your other accounts (email, etc).

Finally you never make the same mistake of giving away your password again. You weren't hacked, you were careless.

I'm not sure what you really have to do so you can get the account back... but I'm willing to help you out and PST your guildies, if you'd like.

Which faction? Who is your guild? What is the toon's name? I assume you'll be able to reset password at some point.

I didn't give my password to anyone. Why are you being a jerk?

The devs won't help you with this as account security is 100% your responsibility. At best they'll ban the account if it starts any malicious activity.

Tell your guild immediately. They will probably want to gkick them (unless they're better.) You might have to level another character to lvl 7 which doesn't take very long.

Assuming you were "hacked" - you should figure out why this happened & make sure to prevent it from happening again. Did you perhaps have a password that was simple & easy to guess? Or was it something else?
