Do you think that possible for a shaman to tank 5 man ?

I m not talking about high end instance. But i never played a shaman in Vanila.
If the shaman go ench.

-Shield Specialization
-Anticipation
-Toughness
-Parry

Get some enchant.

Is that possible ? Or there is not really any skill to hold the aggro

You could use it to off tank very briefly, but otherwise no. It is a gimmicky spec that only works in very special situations.

You can easily make this happen. I've 'tanked' every 5man available as a hunter. You just need to prepare a bit and not go in extremely clueless.

I am unsure about Vanilla Shamans but your threat spells are Rockbiter weapon and Frost shocking. Tinker your way through a specc to get parry as you said and decide if you want more threat by going into elemental or go for a more healing spec. Where you also pick up the hit% talents, never wasted.

Find some tank gear, heavy on avoidance. Try out the tanking with a healer you know.

Bioness makes no sense in that it would work in very special situations. Unless rockbiter weapon is bugged.

It's Earth Shock not Frost Shock... also this maybe possible, it also maybe possible to tank all the 5mans as a mage, but it's ridiculous.

Above 50% pre-raid geared frost-arcane mage here. It's hard to tank (pocket healer) SM Cath, but everything under Cath is a breeze (including solo'ing).

I'm sure high ranking PvP players such as Steezy can easily solo/tank instances though. Pretty sure Frost Warding (currently broken) + Arcane Resilience (don't know if it works) would make it easier though.

There was couple videos of shaman tanking Onyxia in vanilla.

Last I played on this server, your primary threat tools, Earth Shock and Rockbiter Weapon, were not adding the correct amount of additional threat. As a matter of fact, they were adding none. If this has been fixed, you should be able to tank all the way to 60 no problem.

Well there's also a video of a raid group consisting only of priests killing onyxia, I wouldnt use those as proof of something being actually viable :p
