Pick & share the (1) one memory that sticks out to you from your WoW experience.

Mine: Getting Dragon's Call banned from all future raids.

Backstory: My warrior (Night Elf on Wildhammer-US) was incredibly lucky, getting both Ironfoe AND Dragon's call on my first runs through ST and BRD. Our guild was killing the trash before one of the world-boss Green Dragons.

The Story: As we're finishing off the second to last pack, Dragon's Call proc'd, and as our tanks start the final trash pull, a little whelpling is seen running up the big ramp to the big bad at the top. Suddenly, the boss in en route to the raid group, 1/2 of us die, and (of course) saddled with the debuff. We ended up getting into a massive world-pvp battle with a rival horde guild just as the cooldown was about to expire. The battle was so intense and evenly matched that it ended in a stalemate and both guilds ended up backing off. Never did get the kill that day.

The Result: After it was discovered that it was caused by my weapon proc, much laughter ensued...followed by our GM permanently banning the use of the sword from all future raids...for EVERYONE. Still, to this day I can't recall both my surprise, and laughing quite so hard as when I heard someone say on vent, "Guys....GUYS! Whose dragonling is running up the ramp to the....Oh God!"

To this day there are people I talk to who remember the incident and grin IRL when we talk about it.

Let the nostalgia reign!

First time I heard that magnificence...

Right as we were entering it and began to raze it to the ground with 3 Horde Guilds \o/

My favorite experience was actually before retail in Closed EU Beta. It was not some raidboss or location in wow, it was more the community i was playing with. I really miss that time.
Liam, Hector, Name, Eendje and Steed, i miss you guys :(

After spending days in the snow in Dun Morogh, exploring and figuring out how to play, I got a quest sending me through a narrow pass. As I ran through a tunnel and down a hill, the sun seemed to come out, the birds began to sing, and everything seemed to change. That's when I got a real sense of wonder at the size and scope of the World of Warcraft.

Much later, I was a Forsaken rogue sneaking my way around Ashenvale, well above my level. I was moving so carefully, seeing what I could find. Suddenly an arrow came through the trees and knocked me dead. I heard an elf laughing. That night elf laugh. Not cruel, but somehow indifferent. I was nothing to her. I rerolled.
