Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I never played on a Classic Vanilla Private Server
I installed the game and changed the Realmlist
Create account.
I dont know about addons its along time i played wow.
Is there any MUST have addons?
Is there a quest help addon? Im german and i think will get some problems with the English quest texts.?
What i need to do? did i forget smething?

Yes, ofc there are addons that might help you. Personally, i only use a few.

About the quest help. There is a addon named Quest helper, but i don't think it will work on German, so... i don't know what to tell you man.

There is VanillaGuide and if you use it with metamap it can point you in the right direction of your quests.
But if you managed to write that post, I don't think the English used in quests should pose a problem - it is not as though it is complicated English or particularly cryptic.

If you understand what to do in that quest you're fine.
Otherwise there is a german 1.12 client out there (just google 'wow 1.12 german' or something like that) and I guess that the quest texts are in German in that version.

I may be the unpopular opinion, but no there are no addons that are a must. This game CAN be played without a single one, and it makes it more fun for me personally. Also, don't let elitists talk shit, and pressure you into feeling like your a "scrub" because of your play style. Some peoples addon choices make me wanna throw up on my chest and eat it with a knife.

I agree that there's no addons that are required to play the game, they're more of a convenience. I don't think that there's anyone that feels or thinks that they're a necessity.
