I've read about how the NA ISP's are essentially refusing to improve their service but I thought it was just over exaggerated. In Sweden we pay (60$-105$) for 500-1000Mbit/s down and 60-100 Mbit/s up.

As it turns out, the christians were right. Satan does exist, but he goes by the name "Comcast".

Started out paying $36/month and it's slowly crept up to $72/month for the exact same internet speed. They're lobbying to prevent google fiber from coming to my area, and their customer service is basically "If you don't like it, fuck you."

I'm from NA and I have a decent connection. I can connect 99.9% of the time and I rarely ever go above 140ms latency.

But yeah, ISPs here rob us blind. I really wish Google would expand their Fiber service to the outlying surburbs where I live. There's a major hub they're currently building literally 20 miles outside my town; it's torture.

Good luck, man. Time Warner is pushing hard to restrict fiber internet here in the US, and all the lobby cucked politicians in this country are going for it.

Yeah, my connection is super super consistent and steady, it's just slow (unable to upgrade further due to it just not being available) and i get 175-180 ms on the west coast. I unfortunately take these dumb games too seriously and 180ms is like really upsetting me in tight ass intense PvP situations. I'm used to 20 ish on retail so it's a huge pain in PvP.
