Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I see alot of people raging at both GMs as well as the "devs" whenever something isn't working as it "should",
but what you all seem to completely forget is that this server, and the game and service it offers is completely FREE,
and you don't have to pay a cent to login to your character and play.

Another thing you people seem to overlook is that the Devs and GMs are working on their spare time, no pay,
to keep this server up, as well as doing their best to sort issues ingame and work out bugs in a code that
i don't even dare take a look at.

In my opinion these men & women working on this, taking time away from their family and friends, deserve alot
more thankfulness from you players .. and much less of this rage when things goes tits up...


Remember, Blizztard devs and GMs got PAID to do their work, and they still have severe issue with the
game at launch, and every patch was a clusterfk because someone forgot to test something that was
enough to get people to rage about .


I play a Warrior myself so trust me, if there's one class that is currently suffering from the lack of pvp-patch,
its the warriors with their constant root/sheep/stunlock before death.. But i still enjoy playing a great mmo
COMPLETELY FOR FREE ..

And when you're not paying anything, you don't really have anything to demand, just be thankful.

So i think the devs and GMs working to give us this service could use a pad in the backs .

I don't think anyone forgot that this is free and I'm sure most are grateful for their efforts - I know I am - but this being free doesn't absolve them from criticism or evaluation of their efforts. Some things are handled poorly and those things are being pointed out.

Just add the things you see to the bug tracker you little entited kids, anyone complaining are idiots

You're forgetting the fact that there is other private servers that have set a standard of expectations towards quality of content, release schedule etc. Nostalrius is not up to these standards. The only thing keeping Nostalrius alive right now is the population.

Clank did a really good job early on with fixing bugs that came up, but the lack of developers currently on the project is obviously showing.

Under what category should I put being falsely accused with no proof for hiding "abuses" for weeks for own purposes?

There are many "FREE" private servers where players can choose to spend their time.
If Nost GM's continue to socially engineer the player community people will find other FREE servers to play on.

Yes, nostalrius never shined for fixes (despite the fact of 5 years development they claimed and the 10+ devs). All they have is big population, which is an important feature too, it's very hard to gather so many players, and they did a good job here.

But when I started here I have read about how everything was already (at least better than core mangos) fixed, even if to be honest I am not surprised how different things are.

People that came to this server from feenix acting all entitled and bullshit, sure they are not on the right timeline like they said.... but was blizzard ever like that? no?

after all these years ive spent on this game theres always complaints b.c people cant bother to do anything else instead of complaining about how u learn some coding apply for dev spot help them out?, post bug tracker posts so they can keep up.

Like Viper said when you post a dam bugtracker report make sure u fill in evidence that it worked that way and or things(which many people dont from wat i see on the bugtracker) they just post bullshit then complain COMPLAIN COMPLAIN COMPLAIN.

Try going on retail WoW on europe and see if u can find a gm on the forum gl they removed them from the community(also the community manager staff is no longer there maybe 1-2 mods every day cleaning complain posts nothing more)

I think Nos has done a good job, no server is ever perfect. But those running it seem somewhat clueless and blaming your playerbase, the people who took time out to test, was the proverbial straw.
