Is it possible to buy a epic mount before lvl 60 and just keep it in your bag till u hit 60?

it should be possible right? i mean you can buy gear that is above your level too :O it is just a vendor item with most mounts


most people just dont want to waste gold on it until they have the skills too

That should be possible, but since the journeyman riding skill has a level requirement I don't see any point in it, unless you somehow reach pvp rank 11 or get exalted with AV before level 60 as those mounts don't require the journeyman riding skill.

Yes, it is. I have an epic raptor on a level 1 troll mage.

The epic mounts will, in the not too distant future, be replaced with the armored 1.4 mounts. This video made me believe they'd make the switch months ago but there's still no word on when it'll happen.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that update! If people want the old mounts this would be the time to get them
