Dungeon Rares

Is there a list of what dungeon rares are in game? I know that the world rares are in as there's a video on their release and scripting. And I can confirm that some of the dungeon rares are in, e.g. seeing the faerie dragon in WC is practically common, and I've run into Ragglesnout in RFD.

Long story short, I'm specifically looking to farm Zerillis in ZF and Meshlok the Harvester in Maraudon. Have yet to run into Zerillis in about 40-50 resets, and I'd like to know if I'm just having bad luck or if he doesn't exist.

Would be nice to get a confirmation on their existence if someone has run into them, thanks in advance. :)

Get AtlasLoot and Atlas. Atlas provides you with maps of where a rare can spawn and AtlasLoot shows you their loot table.

Zerillis doesn't appear to have a "added in" (wowhead's 1.11.1 does not count toward anything) date so I'm sure he's in the content as well as all the other dungeon rares.

Did that, resulting in 2 hits for Zerillis, both of which dubious reddit replies and 1 hit for Meshlok in an unrelated side note. Contrary to popular belief some of us do some research before consulting the forums.

Yep, I'm using atlas, thanks for the "added in" though, I'll keep looking then. :)

The most accurate way of figuring out what should be in the game or shouldn't be in the game is searching through the wayback archive of Allakhazam and looking at snapshots of pages from the correct time-period. Right now the server is in patch 1.5. Patch 1.6 came on July 7th 2005 so anything prior to this date that you can find a snapshot of should be in game. Sometimes there is a big addition of patch content that shows up 2-3 days before a patch release and this is usually due to a datamining of the server pre-patch or from a PTR Blizzard had up prior to release.

It takes a bit of learning curve to figure out how to use this tool well but it's one of the main tools I use when deciphering what should be included in what patch.

As per Zerillis: http://web.archive.org/web/200502181242 ... wmob=10082

As per Meshlok: http://web.archive.org/web/200502161856 ... wmob=12237

Both should be in game and if they aren't, report the bug on the tracker!

Thank you very much, this will help in the future! I'll keep looking then.

Delete your WDB folder and get AtlasLoot. If you can view the loot table without errors on AtlasLoot and can link the items without a problem, that means the loot is in the content which also means the NPC is indeed in the content.
