When is this ring getting updated so it has actual vanilla stats? (50 armor, 10 stam, 5 defense and +3dmg to attacker when hit) ?

Right now it has 10 arcane resist, +3 dmg to attacker when hit and +1% chance to hit, which I suppose reflects a really early vanilla stat. But I'm pretty confident it was changed to the more modern version before 1.12.

There was a second item re-vamping in patch 1.10 for high level instance loot. As of right now (with obvious exceptions) the server is using patch 1.5 content. 1.6 will bring BWL, 1.7 Zul'gurub, so on and so forth. We've got many months before the items on the server reflect those on vanillagaming.org.

For a time frame context, 1.9 is AQ and the War Effort. So by the time that comes along you're bound to have found a ring more worth your time.

Ring still not updated with BWL patch. Wake up!

What makes you think its BWL patch that updates the ring?

Even with AQ patch (1.9) it still has its old stats.

Your memory is probably right and you didn't start running BWL until patch 1.10 was out.

The game went from patch 1.0 to 1.5 pretty quickly. Within the first 6 months. After that the patches had a lot more time between them.

On top of that, most guilds weren't stepping into BWL or at least weren't getting past razorgore until late 2005. 1.9 came out in january 2006 but most servers didn't open the gates for 1.5-2 months, if not longer. It wasn't exactly uncommon for guilds to be killing rag for the first time in patch 1.6 or 1.7 and killing nef for the first time in 1.9 or 1.10.
