Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

How are people here dealing with this delay? Is it only affecting some regions?

I dont know who it really affects.
I have been making a correlation for the past week that it all has to do with population online at one time.

When the population is actully over 6k then the small delay starts.

At the moment, for example, it is 7400 online. That means im not gonna be online because its not fun grinding with an aoe mage when mobs actully aren't where they seem to be according to my screen and hitting me from 15 yards away.

Thats all I know for now and im gonna keep being offline when its population is over 6k online at one moment.

big delay for me, U.S. East Coast(Florida to be specific).

Below 6000 players, I get very little/no lag.

The further over 6500 the server goes, the higher the lag gets.

Right now there's 7800 online and it feels like I'm playing at 1k latency.

Hopefully the population will go down after the summer, because the server apparently can't handle more than 7k online.

hmm, well that sucks, cuz this is the main time frame I am able to play, any news if there is a fix for this coming? Like a queue system or split population or bigger hardware?

I don't have actual lag or high latency, just the delay is horrible.

I am in Flordia as well. Always have a 1 second delay.

hey, i just begun on Nostalrius and i like this server.

But something is bad : latency, when 6k + people are connected. This is so awful, and i have 33 ms displayed, but i think i really have at least 300 ms.

There is no solution for this ? So awful to play at night.

^Yes, as I said a few posts above, the server itself starts lagging heavily once it goes over 6k players.

You should have seen Saturday afternoon when there was 8500 players online. Felt like playing at 1000ms.

And do we know if Nostalrius Staff is going to do something for it ? I dont see how people raiding can play with that latency. And lag is so awful when u play.
