Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Hello all. I am leveling fishing right now. After many hours of play my right hand is in pain...I have fishingbuddy addon and I can cast fishing with just right click...then right click when fish bites and right click to loot the fish...so basically I only need to use my mouse to fish..

Here is the point now, my right hand is in pain and have it constantly on the mouse is not relaxing So I have the autohotkey program and change the Space button to be the right click..so I only use the mouse to find the bobber and then I can have my hands on relaxing position and just hit the space button 3 times when I hear the sound of bait..

So basically I turn my Space button into Right click. Is this bannable? I don't wanna lose my account for this comfort gameplay..

People use it for returning flags in WSG so I guess not, I don't use it myself cuz I'm too dumb to understand how the program works.

If you just use it to swap to spacebar then no problem, but since the program is capable of automating the process completely Im pretty sure its redflagget as a hack.

Thanks for answering..yes sadly the Autohotkey is capable to do lot of advance automation (which I don't know how btw) but the question is, can the GM see how you use it or it will just find the process in your pc and ban you whatever you do?

When I was played AION I used autohotkey to bind spells to scroll wheel, cause the game didnt had the option...never got banned for it. Here I don't know how serious the moderators treat this program..

Alright so I know someone that plays WoW with only 3 fingers (3 fingers on the left hand, no right hand). He does the same, but he has modifiers assigned to nearly all buttons so he can use 1-2 fingers for the tasks he needs to complete. Even mouse buttons. Since some modifier macros conflict each other in-game, he has to use a program outside the game so there's 2 levels of keys he plays with.

Might help you in your situation if any limbs are hurting when playing WoW. I was amazed at it, but I can see everyday people trying his method.

To me, game controllers don't seem feasible in WoW. but it would be worth looking into if you can find one recommended by other WoW players. ^^

AutoHotKey is definitely capable of being a bot, but it does not modify client files nor interact with the client unless you're using the Window Spy feature. It shouldn't be flagged as a hack or bot in the case that the buttons are swapped/added/modified outside of WoW and he is still using human reflexes to click the bait instead of a timer or a scanning function.

As it's hard to tell whether someone fishing is using a bot or not if they don't have automatic bot-type replies to whispers or other forms of communication, it would be a tough case to prove he is a bot if he answers a GM with a human-like response rather than "I am not a bot", "You are wrong I'm not a bot", or that Lua bot that said something like "Sorry I have to ignore you" to a GM (the players who cannot be ignored).

tl;dr fishing bot heuristics are redundant and easy to detect by communication, modifying buttons outside the game cannot be detected if they do not modify WoW's memory or monitor the process.
