Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Hi guys,

I know there was a recent ban wave which many were not fortunate enough to escape. I have noticed the bans seem to be associated with the Twitch.tv channel listing, I may be incorrect in this but I have had no issues with being banned as long as I am not on one of their monitored channels. It is entirely possible they just go to the nostalrius website and ban everything they see here at a random time, but might not be.

If possible, I would like to request the nostalrius.org site admins to pull feed from the Nostalrius channel tag on Twitch.tv if possible. I have been streaming here with no issues since the ban wave.

Feel free to chime in with thoughts and comments.

The directory on twitch is: http://www.twitch.tv/directory/game/Nostalrius
If it does not show up, it is likely because no one is streaming under that game name. You can manually put 'Nostalrius' in your playing field of the your dashboard and submit it to make it show up. Might take a couple tries but will definitely work!

I noticed today that the older clients of WoW on the "games" list are gone from the Twitch Website.
Now all World of Warcraft streams are lumped under one title "World of Warcraft" which includes all current Live streams.

I would consider doing what Bago suggests, so you're easier to find. Otherwise, you're going to be stuck at the bottom of the 50000000000 Live WoW streams.

Also, looks like Nost streams are just automatically blocked on the World of Warcraft page.

I'll move here starting tonight. Since it's raid night, I should get around 100 viewers without much hassle. We'll see if the banhammer hits. Since it's not a permaban, only a DMCA restriction with a 24hr ban and recorded content deletion, I'm willing to be the test dummy for the new channel ^^.

Worst case scenario we all have to move to hitbox and have 1-5 viewers.

Bump, still would like the feed to the stream page at https://en.nostalrius.org/streams , to pick up twitch streams, streaming under the game channel 'Nostalrius'. Been streaming daily now since the bans with 0 issues. I am pretty sure they just don't want the Nost streams in their World of Warcraft channel.

That's strange, I have had that in my stream title and it does not get picked up :\

You sure they aren't scrubbing the World of Warcraft channel?

Sorry to ressurrect an old post, but this is something I have conerns about being that I plan to stream while I play this game.

Are there any guides for how to:

A) Get linked up with the main website/streams section to get added there for when I stream on Twitch?

B) Avoid getting banned from Twitch/Blizzard/whomever.
