Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Hi Everyone,


It has been my fantasy for a long time to level in vanilla wow with 4 other players by dungeons only. I think it would be so fun. It would probably be impossible to get 4 other people with the same schedule and motivation as myself. Do you think this could be fun or does it sound like a dumb idea?

I like taking alternative routes to leveling since ive done it so many times. On TR i level from 1-50 by grinding mobs only as orc rogue. That was mad fun.


If you think this is fun or you are interested im playing from US - West. I play mostly in the evenings and weekends.

This actually sounds really interesting. Doing enough runs to level would get good pve gear for moving onto the next dungeon.

So, what are we talking then? Horde or the stinking alliance?

Also, I loved TR until the snowstorm, so sad to see it go.

That'd be fun. I'd be interested. I'm on EST horde, gonna be playing priest shaman and warrior, play usually 5 PM - 7 PM maybe.

Crazy, indeed. But I respect it.
Personally I'd never do it myself, even though it could be a lot of fun with my friends. But the amount of reputation I would miss out doing dungeons instead of leveling through quests and clearing zones... I mean, in Vanilla, you have to do so many quests to level to 60, that by the time you ding 60, I'm always very close to exalted or already are with at least one major faction, and then the other 3 are all in revered.
And reputation is a big thing for me.. Even though some faction might not have the best rewards for me, I'm going to max it.

P.S. I like to ride mounts that don't belong to my race.

I'm not too much of a levelling person so I might be completely wrong , but Exalted + triple Revered with your major cities, just by levelling a regular character, without focusing on something or anything, seems a bit of an overestimation to me.

My bet would be more something like Revered + 3x Honored, at best !

You have to know that thanks to Youfie if I recall correctly, doing low level quests to get reputation is vanilla like, ie you get less and less reputation according to your level. This means the best way of getting reputation is cloth - and indeed, seems weird to be revered to all at 60 only through questing !

Yeah I've always been revered everywhere (but gnomeregan when playing alliance) when I reached 60, had around 10/21k for the main city (usually sw.)

It's really do-able to be exalted when you're level max, just gotta do the thing properly. (and gnomeregan is shit anyway !) And I'm not talking about any privates here.
