Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Just a hypothesis right now, but my friend and I were talking about making a guild that runs on GDKP system rather than DKP system. We are not talking about GDKP pug run for selling loots, but strictly for guild member only. This will effectively avoid DKP system's problem like DKP hoarding, or gear players not motivated for raids on farm.
So what are you guys opinion on this matter? Is there any potential problems that we might run into?

why do guilds even use the old, shitty dkp system that allows dkp hoarding etc? just 1 example: add a weekly dkp decay (like 20%). so hoarding is not worth ist.

this and everything is fixed, I'm really happy I did not ever see GDKP in action but if it's that stupid as it sounds, May god have mercy on your soul.

the problem about decaying dkp is that it really demotivates people with better gears. with gdkp at least they are getting gold for the effort they are putting in

If i wasn't running <Malice>, I'd join totally.

I find DKP system to work as best these systems can, but have silent bids on items, so ppl will use all/most of their DKP on item/s

If you find enough people interested in such a project, go for it!

If you are however already running a guild that is raiding already I'd say this is a rather horrible idea unless by some miracle you happen to have a ton of guildmembers already sold on this idea.
