Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Hi everyone,

I noticed if I enter complete garbage for a password, I get the same response for what I enter as my real password. I get to the handshaking phase of the connection then get the dreaded 'Unable to connect' over and over.

Is this expected? That would make sense if the server just cannot handle my request, and is dropping it before it ever gets a chance to do authentication. Somebody reassure me they went through the same thing?

edit: Follow up, is the forum account/pw equivalent to my in game account password? If I change my password here on the forums, does that change my pw used to login in game?

Your forum username/password is not the information used to log into the game server! go to the Nost home page and all the way to the bottom left there will be a place to sign up for a username and pw for the game server.

Right! I have an account, and thanks so much for responding! Is there some mechanism for getting your password sent to your email? Or changing your password (so I KNOW I'm entering the right one)?
