In short: i completely and utterly disagree with the recent changes

The gold hunters were making were not in the obsene amounts, in the very rare cases that they did get a Foror's Compendium, maybe even 2 in a short span of time. something that can happen with any class farming any mob that has a tiny chance of droping a very valueble item.

That aside. a good hunter made about 80-120g after 4 runs(1h).
Now if this is the problem, shall we then remove the ability of mages to farm 50-150g in an hour using blizzard on weak mobs? remove the ability of rogues and warriors to kill elementals quickly to earn the same amount?

Maybe we should remove the ability of all hunters of all lvls to kite any mob, so that they cannot boost anybody or solo anything... remove pets so they cant get past mob packs?
Let us also remove invisibility potions, they make things too easy

On another note. as many people are saying it has become very hard or impossible to even do the encounter will a full group now. This is not blizzlike, this is improvising, catering to the loud minority.

I'll end this with saying this: as a hunter, i could begin farming elementals. or specific mobs that give valueble items to earn basicaly the same. but i dont want to. because soloing tribute was fun pretty much from the start til now. Grinding elementals over and over is not, it requires no focus, no tactics.

I agree. Im priest. I dont fuckign care if hunters solo DM tribute. Every crybaby can fuck himself. Go and play tetris u idiots who bitched about how hunters are OP in DM trib. Proly most of crybabies will quit Nost in 1-2 months after they see how actually bad they are.

There was no minority that wanted this, nobody wanted this. What people wanted was for Gordok and Cho'rush to be properly linked, and one of the patrols to function properly. Nostalrius just happens to have really bad coders who fucked up a whole bunch of other stuff too, I suppose.

Just like how Dire Maul was buggy on release, and AV was a total mess on release, and BWL will most likely be a complete fucking trainwreck on release, any time Nostalrius staff do things it takes a while to be properly debugged. Probably because they only have a few people.

I checked AH and some smart guy bought every Major Mana potion from AH. I hope you realise that you made a biggest mistake on Nost so far? 5x Major mana potion will now cost more then 15 gold. Even with Alchemy u cant put on AH becasue the guy who is making that will make for his guild healers or sell maybe couple of them ( but then prices will still be high ). What you just did is that you made healers to be so sad atm because couple of retail idiots crybabies complained about hunters.

Anyone who has been checking the AH regularly since the start of the server will have noticed the big inflation which has been happening since the release of DM. I know inflation happens naturally, but this inflation has been exceptionally big.
Just the fact that people complain about the lack of mana pots on AH tells the story really, the hunters completely murdered that market with the prices below 5g per stack so other classes couldn't keep up.

I know hunters will cry regardless of how many times people try to explain finances to them, but I figured I would give it another shot.

And to OP, as a mage I beg you to show me those "50-150g" an hour aoe grinding spots, because I can't seem to find them anywhere, especially with this server population. I'm sure the warriors/rogues would love to know where they can farm 50-150g an hour on elementals undisturbed aswell.
Seriously though, the fact that you spew out such utter bullshit shows how biased your views on this topic are, and your lack of knowledge about other classes' ability to farm gold shows how clueless you are outside of your little DM tribute bubble.
