Part of the problem with Vanilla is that it's really best to level alone and then to group up for dungeons and elite quests. You will get far better exp and level far faster doing it alone.

I think your idea of forming a guild is probably your best bet. That way you have a pool of players to help in all level ranges for group/elite quests and then dungeons, obviously.

Even if I do agree that levelling solo has its merits, a well balanced group can be amazing at levelling up. It's not just the XP-per-mob, it is the reduced downtime. The tank, even if not dealing terrible damage, is able to hold aggro and keep mobs off the casters/DPS. And no need to pause and eat/bandage, because tre is teh healer to do it.For example, as a mage, half your mana is spent to keep you alive, nova, mana shield, blink, snare mobs. With a tank, no aggro problem, just offload your nukes and gief free water/food. if you still get clobbered, you have a healer. If you manage to die, no corpse run, you are rezzed. And everyone enjoys the collective buffs, intelligence, hitpoints, mana regen, everything.. Balanced groups make for less stressful progression. And don't need to worry about elite quests, they just get done along the way.The wow world as one huge neverending instance.

exactly my thoughts on a "full" group

Also quests that require a drop, do not share, so while per mob xp is divided by group members, the number of to be killed is greater, thus canceling this out. So while you kill more mobs with a group, those quests get the same XP from mob kills.

This was also a post to check interest about PvE server guild. I saw one or three other posts, but not much. I know it isn't announced, but I like to have a plan.

Thanks for replies. Hope to get a group, maybe more together!
