Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I would like to thank you for creating such a quality server and making this possible. It is a privilege to be a part of this world again, as it was always meant to be. I have long wanted to experience the classic days, and I regret nothing. People say that we miss it for the community, but it is not just that. Everything is more meaningful, from completing a quest to opening a treasure chest. The world feels dangerous, and you have to work hard to survive. Going to the tavern after a long day of adventuring is fulfilling, and makes it feel like you really earned your rest. None of these things are present in the game today, and I find it sad. I will admit that the game has made improvements, but I would gladly give it up for the chance to relive this time. It has a pure quality that is unmistakable, and I am glad to know that everyone here understands.

So again, I thank you. I feel like I've come home.

I agree! The server is fun to play on and I've been part of some groups of helpful and friendly players. It's great to be able to play the classic game again. I really do enjoy doing all the quests from back then. It's also good to have a bit of a challenge as some of the quests aren't as easy as they are on the live servers.

I've even dug out my strategy and dungeon guide books from 2005 to remind me where the quests are and the level ranges of the areas. I'm currently level 23 and have yet to complete The Deadmines as the groups I've been in haven't reached VanCleef yet. I will hopefully complete that sometime this weekend!
