Hit by a ninja looter, Midoriko Priest.

by Nobel » Tue Sep 01, 2015 3:34 am

Pug'd an MC run (random assortment of guilds) got to Domo and he dropped two healing bands and an eye. Due to a bug anyone was able to loot chest. Loot was being rolled on and a druid won a ring. Druid proceeded to loot his ring, as soon as the druid left the chest Midoriko jumps in and loots a band and eye. Entire team was rightfully upset and Midoriko took offense to being called out. He was offended since it was a "mistake." Perhaps pressing accept twice was a mistake? Benefit of the doubt was given and ticket was submitted, don't know if the priest submitted one him self but raid lead did. GM's unable to help, for unknown reasons.

Claims it was an accident, you all decide. Next time he logs in no doubt he will have a nice ring and be in the process of getting his Benediction. Congrats mate, well earned.

So does loot just jump into your bag?

No, everyone is able to loot the chest. That's how it's always worked.

Thanks for the info guys, doesn't change the fact it was a ninja loot since no rolls were called for the two items in question.

I see, so how will this issue be resolved? The raid lead submitted a ticket, I imagine the person who took the loot needs to as well. If its denied would that be a case of the would be looter not submitting a ticket?

They don't transfer loot.
The level of whining about bans on the forums is at an all time industrial level.

A ticket will do nothing other than waste a GM's time. They don't do anything about misloots or disputes.

I have been raiding since April, and I have never encountered this bug, and I have never heard of it happening to anyone else either. Sounds like someone from your guild has been dumb enough to shift-loot and then press "OK" or just used it as an excuse for ninjaing.

And to OP: Sucks for you and the other people in your raid, but there is nothing you can do about. I just hope some of you guys took pictures of it happening so you can upload it to the ninja looters thread. This is one of the rare cases where you don't seem like a crybaby for posting in that thread.
