Why are mounts being removed? -- not following timeline

Currently we are loading patch 1.5.x and the "old school ride" (wow achievement name) mounts have been removed in a recent update. This is not following the vanilla timeline. Every database and patch records shows the mount changes in patch 1.12.1.

I do not know why they did this so far early, maybe to make them more rare. I personally think it would be better if they removed them after Naxx has been cleared (or released if it takes a long time) with more accordance with the actual vanilla timeline. It would be a token to show who played during the entirety of progression vs MC & Onyxia's Lair.

They should have been removed way earlier, when 1.4 when live.

Wowhead shows every items added before 1.11 as being added in 1.11 since WH itself was put online for 1.11.

I didn't come to cry, I don't really care because I'm an undead so it doesn't effect me and I will get a dreadstead. However I did think it was interesting that it wasn't being done on time. I do apologize for the misinformation that I recieved and then proceeding to post it on the forums.
