So lets give our initial thoughts on the server.

Currently i'm impressed. Despite the zones being extremely crowded i've only found 3 bugs. Being flagged for pvp when i take a zep, growl doesn't really get used that often when it's on autocast, and when my pet is immobalised its running animation stops.

Otherwise, server stababilty is amazing, mob pathing is the best i have ever seen on any private server. I have yet to see a mob floating in mid air constantly falling down/teleporting. The worst i have seen is a single centar in the barrens that spawns underneath the ground. Haven't expierenced any bugged quests through i have heard that the lazy poens quest and the guns of northwatch have issues.

RFC has a maybe 3 questionable chains and that's about it. Looking forward to seeing how well scripted the WC event is

The only bugged mob I've seen is a floating Kodo on speed in Mulgore.

well there are bugs.. but overall, the stability is really amazing, with thousands of people online. /bow to the devs

However, they should start communicating with people more often and certainly we need a bug tracker/forum..

i like it alot when GM sends message in chat, it show they are there and they are active. and maybe get a Twitter Nos devs?

They fixing alot of Stuff like the War Effort Announcer, the Ragefire Pulls or the Login Problems pretty fast for a free no Donation Private Server.
The Server is pretty stable for 4,5+ Players and i bet fanbois of other server are already pretty heavily tryed to ddos the shit out.

Even if the Leveling Zones are so crowded, is much fun to play for me. Hope at least half of the Player Base get it to 60, then we would have a nice active Server.

Spread the Word, lets make this Server just awesome.

its broken, i have herbalism and there are some spots with 5or more herbs at each other.. classic mangos bug, i actually thought this was fixed..

It was actually fixed, there shouldn't be more than 1 node in a 5 yard radius. But we may have missed some of them or maybe 5 yard isn't enough ?
Please point us in the right direction, saying it is broken doesn't really help us.

I saw a group like this directly in front of Sepulcher, like 5-6 herbs at one place. I dont think it has a mathematical condition like you mentioned, but it seems like 5yards is a bit low. From what i remember, you should not have like 5-6 herbs visible at once in your radar, even when zoomed out to maximal level.
Although as you said, maybe its just one spot, overall, i did not see many more spots like this, only like two herbs closer (but further away than 5yds) to each other.

Something weird with mining aswell.
When i came out of Northshire there was a copper mine on right hand side. First i failed 5 times to do anything, it even said "Failed" (never seen this in vanilla before), then it worked and i got 3 lvls in minging and some ore and stuf. But then it let me mine it 5 more times, without giving any exp or ore. It seems to happen to all ore.

Also while in Jasperolde mine i was mining ore and was about to take the loot from the window, some random dude also mined and took the loot infront of me, like a public loot window or something.

Anyway it doesnt seem right. Yes in Vanilla you were supposed to mine few times, but each time gave some ore (cant remember if it also gave exp each time)

you could get failed, if you are mining "an orange" vein, but it should give you only one skill, no matter how many times you can mine it.

The whole impression I get, from the testing eras to launch, is that the baseline scripting is not as perfect as advertised (not that it's necesarily false advertising, but at least kind of misleading), but they get things fixed extremely fast, and also have the will and motivation to get things fixed fast (with the goal of being the best scripted server). The server launch also: there were log-in issues at the beginning but they got it fixed, and once it was fixed it was just great. I don't even believe that Nostalrius currently has better scripts than Kronos, but the rate at which Nostalrius get things done is truly impressive.
