Hey,
Been playing on and off couple days and so far great job with server.
A question, why do you use the very first, basic tooltip to see your chars stats (str. int.agi dmg etc)?
As i understood this server is running pre-TBC WoW, and a while before that the tooltip looked like this:
Im not sure if i dont know where to look but atm, i as warrior cant see, my crit chance, my armor, my block value, my damag mitigation, my avoidance. They all were visible in vanilla pre TBC.
I can see only my melee dmg and my ranged dmg (besides main stats).
Thanks for reply

it looks like you have an addon running that changes the character screen ?

No i dont use addons, the screen was just a random screen from google img search and yes this dude has some addon on, but consentrate on the Base Stats and Melee section, this is how it should look.
Wish i was home and make a screen of what it looks like atm.

i did not have the chance yet to check ingame,
but it should be available either with drop down menu, or hovering over the stats.

In vanilla, the character screen is pretty basic without addons. You have to hover over states for more details and even then not everything is listed.

Exactly! When you hover over Armor, it shows you Block % and amount. Hover over defense and it shows you avoidance. As in the screen above!
Right now there is only Melee dps and Ranged dps, thats it, nothing more, cant even see my amount of armor.
EDIT: Anyway, ill get some green stat gear and then i can see if it shows anything. Maybe i just get it wrong.
Cant remmeber what it all looked like, i just remember that when i tanke just before TBC i saw all kind of stats.

Vanilla by default doesn't show fancy things like spell power or spell hit. you also need to use your skill tab under general for parry, dodge and such. Vanilla was great in many ways, but the UI was lacking, especially compared to newer versions.

I don't remember what stats you could see as melee, but as a caster you definitely could not see your spell damage in most of Vanilla, and there was no option to see certain stats rather than others at all. The newer panel might have been implemented at the pre-TBC patch, indeed *just* before TBC as you say.

what you posted is not a default vanilla tooltip. What you have in the middle of the screen is not a default tooltip and it must an addon. Normally, you only see your character image in the middle of the character menu. Also, expertise wasnt even out in vanilla iirc.

I see the old version, i don't know what you have in your game, but must be an addon or something...
