So, you know what? None of you wished that those zones would have ever been released in vanilla instead TBC to come out?

I just think it would be nice a Custom Wow vanilla server, just to see those zones as +60 lvl progression, instead TBC come out.

Just because we all love Wow vanilla because of it's playstyle, TBC meant a big change for World of warcraft.

Is it possible to reach Azshara Crater on Nost? I can't seem to get my mount up those slopes - although there are Youtube videos of it but they are from LK with mounts that weren't from Vanilla.
Pretty sure you can get to Hyjal here, not sure about Emerald Dream. Old Outlands, as far as I know there are game files but no way of reaching it in the world (people were getting to someplace like Outlands from Deadmines in a later expansion.)

Plenty of people will still play here, but the lower content like what's here now will be just history.

Unless the developers were to spend thousands of hours "fixing" those underdeveloped, it would do nothing but cause glitches and problems throughout the server. What you are suggesting is a "fun" server, one which gives things like custom items, zones, raids, etc. if you want that there are servers out there that offer it, but most are god awful.

I don't see why the mounts would make a difference. If it were possible in Wrath of the Lich King it should be possible in pre-TBC, unless those people used items like Riding Crop (+10% mount speed). You cannot however reach the actually battleground of Azhara Crater without hacks or your own private server with access to the files. It would be like making your way into Aterac Valley uninstanced.

There are LK-era videos with people using the PvP Bear mount and they are able to jump across certain terrain features. I found the same spot, but I'm unable to jump the same distance. I wouldn't think the mount speed has anything to do with it, maybe mount-terrain mechanics changed after Vanilla or maybe it's the specific mount - I've seen other videos from other posters using that same mount.
