I think I've been trying enough...

I tried everything, I even downloaded fresh client (even tough my current client runs all existing vanilla realms without ANY trouble) and STILL I can't stay in game longer than 5-10 mins.

It's more than frustrating. I dont wanna be hater, I understand there are some bugs and shit. but honestly devs, starting zones are buggy as hell tough. Took me forever just to pick a fkn quest from Mordo in Tirisfal and I'm reading here about various shit in starting zones that doesn't work.
It's wrong approach to game. Newbie zones and the ones after it MUST work flawlessly if you want to leave good first impression and deliver the hype you created properly.

Also sometimes after dc, I can't speak on any other chat but /say & /yell. Commands like /1<space> don't work at all and I gotta relog few times to fix it.

I saw nothing special here except the IMPRESSIVELY LOW latency due to the population. There are much more polished starting zones out there on other lower populated servers. I can't speak about stuff after it but that stuff also works 95% properly on all other existing realms (especially two of them where I spent most of my vanilla gaming time).

Nostalrious so far provided me great hype, overpopulated newbie zones (which is best thing I got here ), 345346056476845654 disconnections and it's FIRST SERVER EVER to be bugged in VERY FIRST minute of gameplay.

I stepped out of undead starting tomb and voila - Undertaker Mordo bugged - dc - log back - Mordo still bugged - dc - log back - Mordo still bugged - dc - log back - Mordo still bugged - repeat this like 20 - 30 times and all that in less than 10-15mins - logg back - Mordo FINALY gives me quest - dc - logback - Mordo bugged again.

Yea... I was on edge of leaving server straight away. But I sticked here till this very moment.
Yesteday I was told server was DDoSed. I logged today and asked on general:
"is DDoS over?" over 10 ppl answered YES
Just a fkn minute after that - disconnceted from server.

Thanks for great hype and unique experience for couple of hours I managed to play here.
I'll come back and check server in 10-15 days maybe. If I dc again than it's gonna be final goodbye.
(stop blaming my client and shit like that, I tested my client on 3 realms - works fine)

regarding the disconnects that only happened the first few hours due to login server overload.
yes the server crashed / restarted several times due to upgrades / bugs /whatever.
but people having disconnects ever xx minutes could have several indications.
your account is flagged for some reason to have anything that resembles a hack and thus a kick.
an addon that messes something up.
unstable internet connection (unlikely)

since you have a fresh WOW installation, can you PM me your account name so i can ask the administrators to see if your account has been flagged for something.

sorry man.. thousands of us don;t have any problems. I only had problems with connecting in the very first hours. after that it is smooth sailing here. and the low amount of bugs is incredible. I play hunter and EVERYTHING just works . even in battlegrounds.! It is amazing. a pet that actually follows you and charges the enemy. a pet that is able to tag a npc within 0.2s from spawn.. a pet that uses growl and actually holds agro.. yet isn;t overpowered.. and actually can die and needs FOOD ALL the time!!

all my other spells so far (lvl 12 as well) also do what they should do.

lvl 12 here, all quests worked fine for me.. no DCs, no lags..

I've had no connection issues after the fix and encountered no bugs during gameplay.

When I started playing, I had a notebook and a pen ready to write any bug I could find.
I am now level 14, and I wrote something like 5 bugs in my notebook. Over those, I already removed 3 of them because I was wrong, they were not bugs. The 2 remaining "bugs" are just quest objects timers that seem too long. Maybe those are not bug either, but anyway, if I am right it will take 30 sec for a dev to fix that.

The only actual problem I met was the crashs and lag yesterday evening, and they were fixed within 1h30 by the dev team.

(I started as elf druid, leveled in teldrassil and darkshore.)
