Is BWL out?

So I Understand this seems like a dumb question, But I keep seeing people with Tier 2 Equipment, but when I look at the raid progression stickied post, nothing shows up on Blackwing lair.... Plus I'm like level 15, so I'm not really on the up and up.

BWL will release in a few days. But... T2 Legs and Helm are available from Ragnaros and Onyxia, so that part of T2 is perhaps what you're seeing.

Originally (in the original WoW) Molten Core bosses dropped a mix of tier 1 and tier 2 gear, but not a complete set of either. In one of the earliest patches Blizzard fixed it so that Molten Core would drop only tier 1, with the exception of Ragnaros who would now drop the tier 2 legs and Onyxia the tier 2 helm.

Blackwing Lair holds the rest of the tier 2 loot and so ended the legacy of Blizzard have mixed tier gear in the game raid.

Burning Crusade would also be the last expansion to have multiple tiers released at the same time. Tier 4, 5, and 2 pieces of tier 6 were available at the launch of Burning Crusade, all you had to do was go get it. Unfortunately such a thing will never happen again.

Lastly I'll leave you with this, with the exception of a few pieces and only for certain classes, Tier 1 and Tier 2 is great for looks, but terrible to actually use in raid. Gear wasn't properly optimized until Naxxramas and even then it was clear Blizzard only wanted certain classes to be certain specs.
