I'm not too sure if I should rush level or take my time and enjoy myself. I certainly don't want to miss the pre 1.4 mounts, could anyone clear this up for me?

Forgive me my stupid question, but what is the pre-1.4 mounts? How are they special to the "normal" 1.12 mounts?

pre 1.4 mounts have no armor on them

blizzard made a patch which gave the 100% mounts armor, so anybody who had a pre 1.4 100% mount was very rare because the game was not out long and was very hard to get that much gold

Most will know Ivory Raptor being pre-1.4 for example, to people asking.

We talking about the 900g fast mount right? The horse available from Hillsbrad stables for example?

If yes im not even worried, in vanilla i really struggled for 90g for normal mount

If they introduce next ''patch'' when new content is released (BWL) the mounts will be reworked 2 months after Ragnaros is killed (BWL is released)
