is it legal to make a youtube video while playing Nos?

Planning to get my first character to 60 before i start thinking about the video, But would it be legal to make a Road to 60 on this server?I wont be making money off youtube anytime soon but being able to play nostalrius for free then making money off of videos of it might bug blizzard right? im not too keen on legal issues x.x

It's definitely illegal in the US, and unless you want the FBI knocking on your door I strongly suggest you don't do it.

See this scaremonger, don't listen to him. While it may not be "legal", neither is jaywalking.

Make as many youtube videos as you want, Trozzu. The worst YouTube or Blizzard can do is take them down.

There have been more nationwide arrests for illegal youtube videos of private servers in the past two months than for drug possession over the last 10 years combined. If you want to take the risk, that's on you, but I don't fancy spending time in a supermax federal penitentiary to rack up views on my youtube account.

Thanks for the feedback guys, of course i would rather my youtube videos be taken down rather than being sued, im an adult now which i can most likely be easily taken to court for something silly like this.

This is true. I introduced a friend to Nost and eventually he started making some youtube videos. Now he's facing life without parole.

Similar to pirating video games, movies, shows, etc all they can do is send a letter telling you to stop. The only way you would get sued is if you are supplying the pirated content by the thousands of copies.
