Question regarding Trading

Good day,

my question would be if it is allowed to have my Horde character go fish some stuff, send it to my brother's character (same IP, we share a room, 2 different PC's), he puts it on the neutral AH and my Alliance character can buy it. Or would that be another industrial and bannable offense for doing nothing wrong?

You don't need to use your brother, you're allowed to trade items between accounts, that's not considered multiboxing.

Transferring things through the neutral auction house is also ok, just watch out for snipers.

Thing is, that one of my buddies already tried that, and at the neutral AH (namely Booty Bay) gives him a message "You can not bid on your own auctions" or something like that.

Yeah you need to trade it to a second account (that's why I said trading between acocunts is ok)

Clarification on multiboxing

Multiboxing refers to playing multiple separate characters simultaneously. This can either be achieved by using multiple separate machines to run the game or by running multiple separate instances of the game. It is against the rules to /follow level characters, run dungeons or raids with multiple characters, PvP with multiple characters, etc. There are only a few situations where multiboxing is allowed in Nostalrius, e.g.:

- Trading items between accounts.

- Professions, as long as no farming is involved;
i.e. You can have two characters ingame simultaneously for crafting, enchanting, or trading purposes.

You are allowed to send gold between two characters on different factions that you play. Do note that large sums are obviously suspicious and will be investigated, in which case your account could be temporarily suspended while the investigation is on-going.
