Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Two different players have reported suddenly losing all their gold in a weird way.

Case 1
Case 2

Both described it roughly like this.

1) They suddenly couldn't do stuff with their gold (use mail, flightpaths) even though their bag UI showed that they had gold.
2) After a reload/relog. Their UI showed 0 copper.

The only response we've seen from GM's so far is: We have concluded that this is not a bug and it wasn't removed by GMs.

Let's solve this mystery!

The first thing that comes to mind is some API shenanigans. If any of the two affected players could upload a zip of their Interface folder somewhere that would be great.

I'm really curious too, I wonder if the addon made them drop it, or a some other shady shenanigans are going on behind the scenes

Someone needs to upload the old version to tell if there's anything shady but the newest upload seems fine.

Edit: Another possibility would be that the addon was doing actions too fast and kept spending same gold multiple times on one purchase. Which I have witnessed happening with class trainer in Mangos previously (not here precise).

How fucked up would it be if there was a small error that made users drop their gold, 6.6k of economy destroyed by an addon
