Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I'm currently playing on my Macbook, using the normal Windows Client together with Wine. (Yes, there's a native mac client .

Game is running incredibly smooth, except in one single situation. Tabbing out and back into the game, to check a location for a quest/facebooking for example is making the game run all things but smooth until i switch to any other resolution than the one I'm normally running with and back to the right one again.

Does anyone who knows computers/wine/macbook have the slightest idea of what the problem could be or how I could prevent it from happening?

What's wrong with the mac client if I may ask? (I'm also a mac user btw)
