The reality is that they will never be able to get rid of the gold sellers. As long as it remains free to create a new account/characters, the gold sellers can just make a new account every time they get banned. This is one of the situations where it's actually feasible to say "it's a free service, gotta let some things slide".

You can report these guys (endlessly). Or you can use SpamThrottle so that you don't see the spam.

Not much that admins can do about it other than to make sure that anyone who either sells or buys gold is banned, with the idea of trying to eliminate the market.

Meh you guys could raise the level necessary to say anything in trade up to, say, 10. Would reduce the spam quite significantly.

That wouldn't do anything but force them to level a few more times.. Increasing the trade chat level requirement would be more of a bane to the average player than it would gold sellers. I've been playing here for 4 months and there's never been a point where I was like "wow these gold sellers are just out of control they are totally ruining my gaming experience"... just /ignore them. These guys get banned within a week of creating their characters, so I just /ignore them when I see them, and purge my ignore list of all the gold seller names(Jkjasdlf, Ejejelekej, Alekajfe, etc...) every once in a while. You can report them, but like I said before the problem is impossible to solve completely because they can continue to make new accounts for free whenever they get banned. It's honestly not even that big of a deal, there are way bigger problems being caused by actual players(Righteous Orb scam, trade window scam, people stealing crafting mats..). I remember in retail vanilla I would get IN GAME MAIL from gold sellers like once a week..
The addon Mopar listed is actually excellent for people who can't stand the gold sellers, because you can filter out messages that have words like "Sinba" or ".com" in them. If you really feel your fun is being trampled by these spammers, download the spam throttle addon and you should be able to banish them from your chat log completely after tweaking it a bit.

I'm the author of SpamThrottle. I've made the default keyword filter catch all known gold spammers, even if they try to obfuscate the message. You should not need to tweak SpamThrottle to block them, it will do so out of the box.

And as they try to get around the filter, I update it to squash them again.
