Follow command issues (Following other players)

This is something bizarre and I don't really know why it is happening,
if Vertical Sync is turned off for me, my toon does not follow correctly at all. Toon just runs in a straight line until breaking the "follow" range.
If Vertical Sync is on, follow works as I expect it to.
I don't have any macros, I did a fresh vanilla install with the vanillagaming pack. The issue is specific to either my computer/installation and the 1.12 clients I have used. What I mean is this happens to me on any Vanilla server(its not a Nos thing), it's not happening to nearly anyone else, but it is happening to my brother as well.
Any clues on this?

Im afraid i cant offer any help but this reminds me of the retail bug causing ppl with a certain CPU to walk slower than other players.

Another ting to mention is that multiboxing is not allowed. Not even using the /follow command - so i guess this issue won't get much attention since the /follow command is now (more or less) useless.

I think there are some weird bugs with follow. Put someone on follow, standing still, make sure "Smart Pivot" is turned on, and then start bouncing your camera up and down on the ground, eventually your camera will FLY up in the air, upside down and rotate around and you'll be like 20 feet in the air. NO idea why, but it's a hilarious bug.
So not to go way off topic, but it seems the client at this time had several follow bugs, oh well.

this has nothing to do with multiboxing for me. YES I understand people might want to multibox and following toons is important for that. However, the question still stands, Why does VSync being on or off break the follow command for me?
it's just a bit of an OCD thing since when I run with Vsync on, the rendering time is slightly longer for it to make the clear non-tear image which then creates a noticeable amount of input lag. I'm probably being oversenstitive to this(I'm used to Counterstrike, Dota, etc).

What programs are you running in addition to WoW?
Its no surprise that you notice lag with vsync enabled. How it works varies from GPU brand and often model to model. Essentially with Vsync on it limits the rate at which the GPU can send a new frame to the monitor and because frames are rendered on demand you are going to experience some delay.
You could stand to benefit from updating all your hardware drivers.
It could be a timing issue, this link could give you some insight on where else to look
