Our guild (Rollin With My Gnomies) only got 1 T2 belt off Vael. I thought all bosses in BWL except drakes drop 2x T2 correct? At least that's what I find in sites like here: http://wowwiki.wikia.com/wiki/Blackwing_Lair_loot.

No, loot tables are broken in BWL atm, alliance can "loot" shaman set, that's what most likely happened to you, you probably dropped a ten storm belt. Also the pools of loots are not working properly, some combination of loots should not be possible.

Well I remember my horde guild getting tons of pally loot back in the days.
So getting shammy loot as alliance is not a bug, its how it always was in vanilla.

I think what he means is you get allocated the ten storms loot, but it doesn't actually show up.

You couldnt drop ten storm as alliance, it was not even in the loot table during Vanilla. Same goes for horde with judgement.
You could drop those regardless of faction only after TBC started, when both factions had access to shaman and paladin.

Our RL PMed the GMs, but yeah, they won't swap it for Paladin T2.

So its a bug, and we got a shaman belt that never showed up. I'm a bit relieved to be honest, it would take ages to gear ppl up if it was "normal" that 1 piece dropped. Oh well, waiting for the devs to fix the whole BWL mess up then.

This is absolutely false, they only added the ability for shaman/pally loot to drop cross faction in preparation for TBC in the pre-TBC patch.

You are supposed to use to bugtracker to report bugs, this has been reported several time and confirmed as a bug by the admins.

This is a priority issue for us, along with diagnosing server crashes. The fix is more complicated than at first glance but we're aware of the issue and are working on a fix.

still not as bad as getting just gold from Firemaw.. I assume we got the unlucky t2 shaman glovesx2 middle finger. =/
