Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I was selling two separate Large Brilliant Shards for 4g ea buyout. When I got the notice that they had sold, I went to check the mailbox. The only item in there was the Mooncloth that had also sold around the same time. I relogged several times, and still have not received my gold from the auctions.

I'd have posted this to the bug tracker but I first want to know if anyone else has experienced this recently. If so it is also worth letting the community know that the AH has a bug.

EDIT: I asked world chat if anyone had the same problem and someone messaged me telling me that he had eventually received his gold from his auction. So I've waited and it has been over 10 hours now.

That isn't the point though is it? Server needs to persist our stuff. What next, "Wow, it's just the Eye of Sulfuras. Move on mate, you'll get another one."

Where you gonna draw the line? I lost all my sold auctions just now too, they were in my mail before that colossal honour fuckup and server reset (±13:00 GMT), and now they're gone. It was only like 6g or so, but that's a lot of money when you have none, and others have lost a lot more (just spoke to someone in-game who lost 60g - is that still a "move on" issue?).

Trying to dismiss people when this is a basic required functionality of the game we are playing isn't really very smart, is it? The server needs to operate in a reliable and predictable way. You can't be unsure whether your progress will be saved or not, or the whole idea of an MMO becomes pointless.

Seriously lol. I guess I should wait until someone looses hundreds of gold before letting people know there is a bug.

I lost about 60g in the restart. Just before the restart I picked up mails with gold from the AH. After the restart both the gold and the mails were gone. I hope you will compensate us.
