'Exclusive' benefits is a thing that started in TBC. A few exceptions.

You'll need 300 tailoring to get the 2% crit bonus from the crafted bloodvine set.
You'll need to be an engineer to use several engineering items.

That's pretty much all I can think of.

Robe of the Archmage, Robe of the Void, and Truefaith Vestments are Bind on Pickup, meaning only a Tailor can wear them, after which you can drop tailoring if you hate it and still use those robes, unlike the Bloodvine set.

Otherwise, what Setup said.

Yeah, there really aren't any "perks" like there are in TBC. The only things are Engineering items, a handful of BoP crafted items, and some crafted set bonuses, but many of the crafted set bonuses are crap.

The different shit you can craft, you should do that (and like it.) You want perks? You want a special present to feel special? Fuck off, this is vanilla.

Alchemy - Potions
Blacksmithing - Armor
Tailoring - Armor
Leatherworking - Armor
Engineering - Cool gear / useful PvP items
Enchanting - Armor / Weapon stat bonuses
Herbalism, Mining, Skinning - Money / mats

That should really be enough.
Very exclusive very good, very good deal, you get 2 price 1 time deal only today.

(P.S: I wasn't trying to end up sounding snarky but it really isn't anything special, just the stuff that you obviously get from the description of the profession itself. http://wowwiki.wikia.com/wiki/Profession)

Aside from engineering, there are a few small things not noticed unless you search up every recipe. I wouldn't have known about the BoP tailoring items unless it was specifically mentioned to me, so this is why I'm asking you guys.
